Located in Edinburgh Scotland, BMS is an engineering company specialising in the refurbishment and installation of bindery machinery. We cover the full range of saddle stitchers and perfect binders manufactured by Muller Martini as well as folding machines and other ancillary equipment manufactured by the likes of Heidelberg Stahl and MBO.
We offer a full service to plan deliver and install machinery of your choice directly to your plant in the US. In many cases machinery is customised by our engineering team to your exact requirements in terms of number of pockets, model of trimmer, PUR / Book Block/Crash Station options and conveyor configuration. Each machine is installed and commissioned by our own team of engineers, followed up by a period of operator training provided by a BMS demonstrator.
In 20 years we have carried out many projects in the US. Recent perfect binding projects include the supply of Muller Martini Acoro A7s to clients in Idaho and Connecticut, a Muller Martini Acoro A5 to a plant in Arizona and a Muller Martini Bolero to Illinois.On saddle stitching we have been involved in projects to supply Muller Martini Prima saddle stitchers and Bravo saddle stichers to plants in New York and Philadelphia.
In the main we work directly with large print companies and trade finishers looking to add capacity to their manufacturing operations. We also work with a number of approved graphic arts dealers across the United States.
